C-Weed AAA

C- Weed AAA is a natural plant growth stimulant obtained by the extraction of both Algae (Ascophyllum nodosum) and L-Amino Acids from fermentation of plant materials, generating natural growth promoters. The combination of two highly active components creates a unique biostimulant with multiple application opportunities.

The algal extract is produced from a cool extraction process utilising only Ascophyllum nodosum from the Atlantic coast harvested from the intertidal zone. As it is harvested only during periods of rapid growth, this extraction method ensures that the natural biostimulant anti-stress and growth-enhancing compounds remain intact and are not denatured by heat. The Ascophyllum nodosum is hand harvested taking no more than 60% of any plant to ensure it is a renewable resource.

C-Weed AAA typically contains natural auxins, cytokinins and gibberellins along with alginic acid, betaines, mannitol and laminarin. Typically C-Weed AAA contains low levels of NPK, Ca, Mg and Sulphur, along with trace elements Mn, Zn, Fe, B, Cu and Iodine. The amino acid content is in the L- isomeric form more readily utilised by plants, and distinct from the more common R- isomers of amino acids extracted from animal sources. Rich in Glutamic acid, it also contains significant quantities of Aspartic acid, Glycine, Alanine, Proline, Serine and Valine, along with lesser quantities of a further 11 amino acids.
